Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing (SMS) is America’s 5th-largest third-party mortgage servicing company. What is mortgage servicing? Our clients are businesses that own mortgage loans (such as banks and real estate investment firms); on their behalf, we manage (or "service") their loan portfolios: We collect homeowners’ mortgage payments, pay homeowners’ tax and insurance bills, and help homeowners in default to get current.


The Foreclosure Performance Manager will focus on identifying and managing the key factors that drive performance within the department. This individual will also focus on adherence to standards and manage a team of associates performing quality assurance work. 


  • Manage the quality assurance team
  • Provide oversight, management, and monitoring of department workflow to ensure timely and accurate process adherence
  • Create and utilize performance dashboards, scorecards and process maps
  • Monitor for changes in trends, regulation changes and outliers that impact portfolio performance, focusing on identification of improvement opportunities
  • Work directly with the Legal Services Business Analyst to create automation and infrastructure to enhance department performance
  • Identify key constraints and roadblocks to improved foreclosure timelines and individual performance levels
  • Monitor productivity and determine means to increase output
  • Oversee the implementation for new process and changes to existing procedures
  • Be responsible for accurate reporting of results
  • Identify factors that could lead to financial performance penalties to the organization including GSE compensatory fee and Government loan curtailment tracking and reporting
  • Provide detailed reporting on foreclosure processes in order to improve existing programs
  • Hold weekly performance update meeting with Senior Management
  • Assist in expanding Quality Assurance oversight and review based on quality issues identified via performance oversight 


  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory, team lead, or audit function
  • Demonstrated achievement in identifying and managing performance targets
  • Demonstrated ability to report on data and analyze results
  • Must have strong communication skills; strong analytical skills; and strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent time management skills and be able to work independently
  • Must have excellent process management skills
  • Strong Excel skills required, SQL skills desired but not required
  • Tableau experience desired but not required
  • Familiarity with foreclosure timelines and Federal and State statutes is desired but not required
  • Lean or Six Sigma training is a plus 

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
