Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing (SMS) is America’s 9th-largest third-party mortgage servicing company. What is mortgage servicing? Businesses that own mortgage loans (such as banks and real estate investment firms) contract with us to manage (or "service") their loan portfolios, including collecting homeowners’ mortgage payments, paying homeowners’ tax and insurance bills, and helping homeowners in default to get current once again.


Executes and maintains ad-hoc and scheduled portfolio and process performance reports as well as data and servicing administration support responsibilities. 


  • Responsible for document management and records management
  • Receive and review of documents for client transfers
  • Mapping documents
  • Write SQL Queries
  • Perform post document load analysis
  • Perform missing document investigation
  • Executes and maintains ad-hoc and regularly scheduled internal reports
  • Performs ad-hoc queries as necessary
  • Other tasks as assigned by management and business need


  • 1-2 years of technical expertise experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • Basic knowledge of SQL database, SQL scripts and queries, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Adept at applying troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to work well with internal departments
  • Familiar with working in a data warehouse environment
  • Ability to prioritize and remain focused in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task and resolve issues in a timely manner

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or a combination of some college and relevant experience may be considered
