Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing (SMS) is America’s 9th-largest third-party mortgage servicing company. What is mortgage servicing? Our clients are businesses that own mortgage loans (such as banks and real estate investment firms); on their behalf, we manage (or "service") their loan portfolios: We collect homeowners’ mortgage payments, pay homeowners’ tax and insurance bills, and help homeowners in default to get current.


The Human Resources Supervisor will provide professional level Human Resources support to a growing and fast-paced organization in the areas of employee relations, HR analytics, associate engagement, safety and special projects.


  • Supervise a team of human resources professionals, including generalists and coordinators
  • Resolves questions concerning HR issues, facilities, pay, benefits, policies and procedures, etc.
  • Conducts employee relations efforts by providing coaching and counseling for managers and associates
  • Complete exit interviews and process termination paperwork
  • Communicate and coordinate with building management for all facilities related matters
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of Human Resources policies and procedures that are compliant with state and federal regulations
  • Promotes workplace safety as a Council Chair of the Safety Council, including coordinating site-specific safety and disaster plans
  • Participates as an active member of the organization’s Humanitarian Council
  • Be available to assist with New Hire Orientation and Benefits presentations, as needed
  • Create and distribute monthly reports
  • Assist with ad hoc HR initiatives or special projects as directed by the HR Director


  • Minimum of 3-5 years in Human Resources preferred
  • Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Ability to transition from multiple and varying tasks easily throughout the day including prioritizing, organizing and tracking details
  • Efficient computer skills, including MS Office proficiency
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal/external sources at all levels
  • Capable of working independently and with groups, as needed
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management, or Business Administration is preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification preferred
